Questionchanging from a Arris 3.0 to a Arris 3.1. being told that to use both 1 and 2 ports on the back you have to pay extra with the cable/internet provider. Or is the 1 and 2 ports on back of the modem as simple as a splitter???

- Answer Please note that in order to use the 2 ethernet ports of this cable modem, you might require subscription to an additional IP address from your service provider. Please contact your service provider regarding the same.

Questionbought this arris and replaced the one from spectrum. amplifi is connected to spectrum router like before but amplifi giving me from .68 to max 40 mbps I tried everything on the website and even factory reset bridge mode and off ipv6 didn't work

- Answer I too replaced mine from spectrum with this new arris model and I ended up having to get a service man out to get it up and going . The poor guy was at my house over two hours . He ended up running new cable from the hub across the street to my house . Needless to say he got it up and running perfectly and I woulda never got it on my own .
