• A:Answer Built in drive has an included heat sink sleeve, which can be removed and added to a replacement drive. The primary slot cannot be used with a heat sink, due to cabling overlap. The secondary slot can accommodate a drive with a heat sink, I have installed one myself.

Q: QuestionCan I add a single 32gb ddr4? Will it work? I noticed max is 32gb but I think 8gb is soldered. Can someone help?

• A:Answer I can confirm that it does not have any soldered ram to the board. However, I’m not 100% sure but I don’t think 1 32gb stick will work. I bought 2 16gb sticks from Amazon and put those in and everything worked perfectly. Hope this helps!

• A:Answer This is because ALL rtx 4070 LAPTOP VERSIONS have 8Gb of VRAM. I know its marketing BS, and in many ways is kinda scammy. But the truth is that rtx 4070 laptops all only have 8gb of vram. The desktop versions have 12gb and are also much faster clock speeds. Pretend they are two different GPUs
