QuestionI know the Display Port is through USB C but does anyone know if the USB C is connected to the discrete GPU? Or is it connected to the integrated graphics card? The VR setup I have needs Display Port (thru USB C) but must be connected to dGPU. Thanks.

QuestionIt seems as though, while the laptop functions greatly, there’s often an issue with the drivers. As I and many others have experienced, the screen will often go blank on the login page, requiring a reboot. But I hear AMD recently patched this issue. True?

- Answer As for oculus it does okay. It's not as good as a full computer tower but it'll run some of the simpler pc vr games. As for streaming it totally depends on your wifi. If you want to stream with this get a wired ethernet connection and keep it plugged in and set on a high performance mode and it should do fine.

QuestionWorks great. Honestly, great is an understatement. However, I noticed AMD SmartAccess Graphics mode seems to cause the login screen to go black entirely (yes, not just the background). It’s really tiring having to reboot it each time. Is there a solution?

- Answer You could try your windows settings when I first turned on the computer default it was set to lock and sleep after 1 minute of no activity.

QuestionHow well is the memory on here? Does this laptop not have a memory card slot for an SD stick? For college level documents, occasional streaming apps, and a few video games such as minecraft which usually take a lot of memory will this be a good fit?

- Answer The memory is OK. But if you'd need more, memory is cheap and the easiest part to remove and install on a laptop, I've upgraded to 32 gigs and it was simple, but even someone who doesn't know what they are doing, you can find a easy step by step video on YT! Otherwise it's an amazing laptop for under 1000$

- Answer Yes this laptop can definitely handle VR. This ram is probably 10x the speed of your previous computer. It comes with 16gb capable of being upgraded to 32gb.
