Q: QuestionCan I get a static IP with this device to use as backup for internet?
Asked by Foxt.
- A:Answer This would depend entirely on the service provider. The device itself supports a static IP address, however AT&T would have to have a service that allows you to be assigned a static IP. For Verizon this is a Machine to Machine service (M2M). I'm sure AT&T has a similar service but it'll certainly be a business class service. You'll need to talk to AT&T and inquire with them.

Q: QuestionSo you just buy it online and it comes to your house already with the hotspot on. And you can connect anything to it when it arrives to your houses.
Asked by Tyler.
- A:Answer The answer is yes, but you must first purchase a monthly data plan to provide internet through the hotspot device. When purchasing online it should give you the option to begin 4G data service with the service provider (AT&T), so if you set up the data plan at the time of online purchase then it should come ready to use right out of the box. Once you have set up your data plan on the hotspot device you will be able to connect almost any other device to it and get internet service on those devices.
