QuestionCan I restrict the administrator access to a wired connection?I want administrator access to be restricted to a physical wired connection, I have had previous routers that have offered this feature.

- Answer Yes I believe this is an option. When you go on line to finish your set up you can go to administrative set up and finish whatever your requirements are. Kids restrictions etc. if necessary. Or anytime there after when your needs arise.

- Answer I set up the wireless first, then connected my laptop whenever I'm in the office to get uninterrupted service. You should be able to plug in the Ethernet cable to your computer, then to the back of the router. IF you don't connect directly, Go to "Settings>Control Panel>Network and Internet. In there, you will find where to test the settings and make sure the computer is talking to the router. You can also go to your router website as there is settings for your unit there. The information is on the paper under your router.

QuestionHow do I use this item in an area where there is no cable, just cellular internet access?I am going to Jamaica to a very rural area and I need to access the internet. There is reliable electricity through solar power, but no phone or cable lines. There are cellular towers through which I can access wi-fi but I don't know or understand how I can use this belkin product to get reliable internet access otherwise.

QuestionHow do i get the blink amber light to stopmy router has a blinking amber light and i followed the instructions in the manual on how to fix the issue, but it continues to happen. The internet will not work and i am not sure what the problem is. I have a cable connected modem.

- Answer My Belkin N-600 works well with both my. Rand new iPad, as well as our older iPad. It works with both our smart TVs, iPhone 7's, Apple TVs, MacBooks, and our dells. Also my friends samsung has no issues with it. Works perfectly with everything.

- Answer I was able to set it up using my smart phone. You will need online access to set up but phone is enough. Takes about 5 minutes.

QuestionCan I connect my DLNA Enabled TV to the External Drive connected to this routerI have LG 42 Inch SMart Tv which is DLNA enabled. I want to access the content in my external hard disk wirelessly. Can I connect the external hdd to this router and access the content on my TV which will be connected to this router. Do the hdd once connected to router act as DLNA server

QuestionWill this be just right for my needs?I am planning to switch from AT&T to Cox. The Cox package, however, does not include a wireless router but offered us the option to either buy our own router or buy/rent one of their own. The AT&T router we have since 2008 is a 2Wire Gateway 3800HGV-B. Will the N600 be equal, if not, better perform the 2Wire Router? My house is 3 stories high (condo-type) and we have an HD TV and 2 WiFi laptops. I just need fast download wireless internet speed and strong WiFi signal. It's my feeling that I might overpay for getting the N750 but since I am no techgeek, I am unable to do a comparison between the 2Wire and the N600. Thanks.

QuestionUnable to connect External Harddisk to Belkin N600DBI have purchased Belkin N600 DB router. I have two External HDD, one with 120GB (USB 2.0), and another with 2TB (USB 3.0 support). I can connect the 120GB one to router and browse the files. But when I connect the 2TB one, it is not recogonizing the harddisk. Does the belkin supports USB 2.0 ONLY or it can also supports 3.0?

- Answer The Belkin N600 cannot be set up as a wireless repeater. It can however be set up as a wireless access point but will need a direct cabled connection to your main router. Regards, Belkin Support
