A:AnswerOkay I went ahead and purchased the mouse and can now answer my own question: the answer is no, unfortunately. Which is a shame because I heard any USB mouse can work on the Switch. However for just $3 more, I found that the Logitech mouse does work for it. Obviously you don't need a high-end gaming mouse for Mario Paint.
A:AnswerThe warranty is limited to defects in material, and workmanship. So a they might replace it if damaged, but for loss of usb they might have the USB for sale separately either by the store or manufactuior.
