A:AnswerYes.
Tbh, at first when I bought and start to use this item, I was worried about the bass system work well everytime. Now I always do nothing, but the bass system automatically activate. That's awesome convenient.
You can see the soundbar is connecting with base system on the BOSE app
A:AnswerThanks for your interest in the Bose Bass Module 500. The Bose Surround Sound Speakers and Bose Bass Module 500 use low-energy Bluetooth to pair with our SoundTouch 300, Bose Soundbar 500, or Bose Soundbar 700. Only one set (two speakers) of the Bose Surround Sound Speakers are compatible in the setup. For the best audio performance, we recommend placing all components in the area in which you will be sitting to enjoy your entertainment. We hope this helps! Ashley - Bose Support
A:AnswerNo, you cannot add a second Bose Bass Module 500 (or any additional subwoofer) to the Bose Smart Soundbar 600. The soundbar supports only one bass module connection at a time, either the Bass Module 500 or the larger Bass Module 700
A:AnswerThe Bass Module 500 can be set up in a position of your own choosing. Typical usage does, however, involve placing the bass module to the left or right of your TV setup.
A:AnswerBose unfortunately doesn’t post power numbers in their products like other manufacturers do. But Looking at the input power rating at the bottom of the sub which is required by regulations , it’s rating is 120v at 55 watt draw, Assuming that the amplifier inside is at least 90 percent efficient, you’re looking at a continuous wattage of about 50 watts. That may not seem like much for a sub in this price range , but it’s Bose. They engineer their products to get more sound using less power, smaller drivers, and enclosures.
For me This replaces a 300 watt 10” Klipsch sub which honestly I don’t miss. The klipsch produced a lot of bass but also a lot of vibration and distortion. The Bose sounds cleaner and can get very loud without unwanted rattle and vibrations at almost 1/8 of the power. Even at 50 watts , I’m more than happy with my bass module 500.
A:AnswerHello Theseeyes1, thank you for your question. The Acoustimass 300 and the Bass Module 500 are identical in style and function. Have a great day! Best Regards, Greg - Bose Support
A:AnswerHello!
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you, and for any confusion caused.
We can confirm that this bass module IS compatible with the Soundtouch 300 Soundbar.
If you have followed the instructions and are unable to pair this, we would recommend power cycling both the Soundbar and bass module, then trying again.
Failing that, please get in touch with Bose Support in your region so we can help to get this up and running for you.
We hope you have a wonderful day!
A:AnswerHi Ahsan, thank you for your question. As this is based on personal preference, I would recommend going to your local store to have a listen and make your decision.
