QuestionI have a Bose Solo 5 sound bar. Can I use this to add rear speakers for a more complete surround sound?

- Answer Hello Jess! Thank you for this question. This adapter will not let you expand to additional speakers from your Solo 5 Soundbar. The best use case for the SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter is allowing you to stream music from your home Wifi or Bluetooth enabled device into your existing stereo speaker or home theater system. QuestionWith this would I be able to stream music from my Soundtpuch 300 to my QC 35’s? Essentially I would like to be able to listen to the tv through my QC’s at night while my kids sleep.

- Answer Thank you for your inquiry. Although the SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter will transmit and receive Wi-Fi signals, it will only receive Bluetooth signals. This adapter will not have the ability to transmit Bluetooth signals to Bluetooth headphones (e.g. the QC35s) or Bluetooth speakers. We hope this helps! - Brian

QuestionI have a Bose Soundbar as well as 2 smaller bose sound link speakers. I would like to be able to play all 3 at once - will the SoundTouch wireless adaptor allow me to do this?

- Answer If your sound bar is part of the Sound Touch product group, you would not need an adapter. If the sound bar isn’t part of the group, this adapter would work if you have an input where it can be connected. TV sound will not play over multiple speakers.

QuestionWe just bought a house where there is a hard wired speaker system throughout the house. The rca plugs are in the living room next to the cable. Would this product work for making the system wireless?

- Answer That would be really hard to answer without seeing your setup. This place s a cool device, you can control it from a phone or outher supported device. I have one of these in my garage connected to some really nice computer speakers. I have another in my computer room connected to other computer speakers. The third device I have is a sound touch 30 which is totally awesome. The software lets you play them all at the same time or just one or two. They are all in sync and really sound great. To guess in your case if each of the speakers are powered this will work, but if not the have another device the will power speakers. Have not used it so I can’t comment on that.

QuestionIt's not letting the multi room feature work is it because I'm plugged into a old system (Meaning Not A Soundtouch but Bose) using the Aux cord ? I see the info comr out on tye screen of my 20 but no audio is being delivered

QuestionHello I bought the Bose soundtouch adapter I have a 10 and 20 also have a boss 300 system.i connect everything it's all on there but when I play some music spotify it only plays to main speaker its running off when I add any other speakers no sound

QuestionCan this be connected to a TV so that I can hear the game through all my other SoundTouch speaker systems?

- Answer Yes.... You would originate the source on the speaker that is connected to the TV. Then go into the soundtouch software and join your other connected speakers to the originating speaker. I use it to add my kitchen ST speaker to the source ST speaker connected to the TV in the great room.

- Answer Hello, Thank you for your inquiry! The Bose 321 Series II was engineered to be an all-in-one home entertainment system. It will not be possible to add the SoundTouch 300 soundbar as an additional speaker for TV shows, movies, etc. However, by connecting the SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter to your 321's available AUX input, you will be able to stream SoundTouch music sources and/or Bluetooth audio to both the SoundTouch 300 soundbar and your 321 system at the same time. QuestionI have 2 sound touch 10 speakers. If I purchased the wireless link adapter are you saying that I can plug it in my TV’s digital audio out and it would Bluetooth to the speakers and listen to my tv through the sound touch 10.

- Answer Thank you for your inquiry. No, the SoundTouch Wireless Link Adapter was engineered to bring SoundTouch Music services and Bluetooth audio to existing speakers that do not already have these capabilities. For example, if you had an older Bose speaker system that doesn't have SoundTouch capabilities, you could add this adapter. Afterwards, you'd be able to hear SoundTouch music services through your current SoundTouch speakers AND the older Bose system. We hope this helps to answer your question!

- Answer Hello, that is a great question, thank you for asking. You may connect a SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter to the "Audio in" port located on the back of your SoundDock Portable speaker. You can use the audio cable that is provided with the adapter, coming out of the "Audio out" port. Feel free to contact our Support Line to help you with the initial set up, but you will be able to see the SoundDock speaker on the SoundTouch app and select your stream to play. The SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter will bring streaming SoundTouch music services, and Bluetooth audio to any audio system that has a digital optical, 3.5mm stereo, or stereo RCA audio input. Using your home Wi-Fi network, you will be able to stream these sources on multiple SoundTouch systems (including multiple non-Bose products that a have a SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter attached) at the same time. - Answer Hello, our SoundTouch Wireless Link Adapter is engineered to add Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality to an existing speaker or amplifier and is not compatible with our SoundLink Bluetooth products. - Answer Hello, Slim, all of our SoundTouch systems will allow for your streaming sources to be played in multiple spaces, the internal sources (CD, radio) cannot be rebroadcast to other systems. Thanks for the inquiry!

- Answer I use it to play internet music through a very old Bose CD radio player us. It uses the Soundtouch app on my iPad. Works great. I don't see that it will work with sound links works only with sound touch devices. Contact Bose for information.
