Q: QuestionI noticed you mentioned and showed pictures foods being air fried using a shallow pan and not a wire basket, how is this possible? Using the basket allows for the heat to be circulated all around the food, but a shallow pan will not. Thank you

• A:Answer A dark, solid baking pan with low rimmed sides, such as a sheet pan, is recommended for use with Air Fry. The darker pan absorbs more heat and promotes better browning and crisping.

Q: QuestionI have a gas line they extends 2 inches out from the wall, 8 inches from the right side and 19 inches from the from the floor. Will the range slide in flush or do I need to get the stub cut and capped?

We encourage you to locate and view the Installation Instructions that are available online to view the specifications that identifies the shaded area where the electrical service needs to be located for this range. If you click on the Features tab and scroll to the bottom of that list, you will see the available documents. It is also available on our Café Appliances site when you search by model number. If your gas line is located outside the shaded area, you will not be able to install the new range properly. You will need to have the gas stub cut and capped.

• A:Answer Hello– Thank you for your interest in our lovely Café Induction Slide-In Range. This model does offer a Proof Mode that will create the perfect oven environment for activating yeast in homemade bread. When using the Proof feature, the halogen oven light is illuminated to provide the warm temperature needed to help yeast rise during the proofing process. The Proofing temperature is not adjustable. The temperature range reached when the oven is set for the Proof Mode is approximately 80° to 95° F. Fermentation is a cooking process and not necessarily a feature of the range. We recommend checking your favorite cookbook, online recipe site or your local county extension office for information regarding fermentation of dough in your oven. We hope this is helpful. • A:Answer Hi there - Great question! Ranges with Chef Connect can be synced (paired) with any hood or over-the-range microwave that also has Chef Connect. This feature allows you to synchronize the clocks on both the range and microwave or hood, as well as the cooktop burners with the microwave or hood's vent fan and light. Both the range and hood must have the Chef Connect feature. There aren't any special electrical services or wiring needed as this is a Bluetooth® pairing feature between Chef Connect enabled products, and does not require a WiFi connection or smartphone. We currently do not offer a gold hood, however, we do have stainless steel, matte white and matte black available. We hope this helps.
