QuestionMy phone says out of range and no power at the cs then I disconnect the power from the main counsel and the extension deskset and it works again but it is happening more and more does this mean my main counsel is going bad?

QuestionHow would I deregister my CM18245 with out my main base? Currently shows Out of range OR CS no power on the display.. My main base the CM 18455 shorted out and no longer has power. I purchased another CM 18455 but unable to register, display wont change

- Answer Hello - The only difference between the VTech CM18445 and AM18447 is the color. Both units have the same features. The expansion unit models AM18247 and AM18047 will also work with the CM18445. Thank you, -VTech Support

QuestionCan I set the voicemail system up on a single line so that there are several separate mail boxes instead of just general. Ex. Blah blah if you are trying to reach John doe press 1 , Jane doe press 2, etc. We have several people using one line.

- Answer Hello - During registration, the extension units are assigned with available extension numbers starting from 1 in ascending order (1 to 9. If you would like to re-assign the extension number of the device, you need to de-register them all again then re-register the extension units one at a time. Thank you, -VTech Support

- Answer Yes; however, you will have in essence two independent systems. Console "A" and its extensions will not share their features and functionality (intercom; auto attendant, for example) with Console "B" and its extensions.

QuestionWe currently have two phone numbers and four AT&T ML17929 phones. Each Phone has one phone wire plug that carries both phone lines to the phone. Will this phone system (base and extensions) work with both phone numbers on one wire?

- Answer Pat - The AT&T ML17929 is a stand alone phone and cannot be registered to another telephone system. The CM18245 on the other hand is the extension deskset compatible with the telephone base model CM18445. The Telephone base can register up to 9 extensions. Thank you, -VTech Support
