- Answer Hi Jim, I'm not in a position to advise it. But in an emergency, just use a "bigger" battery, not a series-connected one. Check YT.

QuestionIs this unit capable of controlling a freeNAS system (shut it down upon power loss) through usb? I cant find this model on the driver compatibility list. For those reading, I am asking about a dedicated FreeNAS system, not a Windows system.

- Answer Not sure if you ever got an answer to this but I use this UPS for my truenas scale nas and it connected just fine and shuts down the nas exactly as it should.
