A:AnswerHello Donna, this is Kelly with Dyson. You can turn off the brush bar on the Ball Multi Floor 2, for when vacuuming hard flooring or more delicate surfaces. With regard to sand, you'll want to ensure you're not picking up a lot, as it can clog the cyclone. This vacuum does offer 245 air watts of powerful suction.

A:AnswerHi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. You can have a look at this video here, which will help with placing the wand extension back into place on your machine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rY_EP9Wkt9g
If you have trouble getting the wand to fully go down into the hose, the hose is likely twisted. If you still have issues, please feel free to contact us directly at [email protected] and we'll be happy to help.
Best wishes,

A:AnswerIt did suck up our throw rugs and that is why we got rid of it. The power if great for large area rugs or carpet in the home, but literally sucks up the throw rugs. Would be great if Dyson added a function to dial down the power...
A:AnswerHello MTD, this is Kelly with Dyson. The cleaner head on the Ball Multi Floor 2 is self-adjusting, so it will automatically raise and lower to seal in suction across all flooring types. Dyson machines have higher suction levels than most brands on the market. You may wish to check with your carpeting manufacturer, as some manufacturers have specific restrictions related to suction power, brushbar and/or machine types best suited for their floor covering.

A:AnswerHello Rob, this is Kelly with Dyson. I can confirm that none of the upright machines we offer, feature a retractable cord. The only models we carry that do, would be our canister machines.

A:AnswerHello Jeannie, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Ball Multi Floor 2 is a bagless machine; all debris will filter into the clear dust bin. There are two-filters in the Multi Floor 2, and the machine does offer whole-machine HEPA filtration.

A:AnswerI don't know of any belts in a Dyson, had an older model for 10-12 yrs and never had a problem, still runs like new. Just empty the dust bin each time and go.
