Q: QuestionDoes the voice capture work on PS5 if your headset is hardwired into your controller? And would it also capture voice chat though discord still?

• A:Answer Hi PjC, the Playstation does not support Multi-Audio-Out and we have been in contact with Sony about that. If your Headset is plugged into the controller HDMI-Audio stops. In that case you won't be able to capture Voice-Audio nor Game-Audio. You can still capture it with our Chat-Link-Pro cable, available at elgato.com. If our cable is plugged in between your controller and headset and the capture card you can record Game-Audio and your Party, to capture your own voice a seperate Mic is needed. When your party chat is at your PC's/Mac's discord you can still mix it to your gameplay with e.g. OBS.

• A:Answer Hello Marx, Unfortunately, no, that is not possible. To the best of our knowledge, the Switch Lite does not have a Matrix Display chipset and therefore cannot be captured. Although the “SUPER5 HDMI Dock” claims to solve this problem, it is difficult to obtain and we were unable to confirm this claim with our devices.

• A:Answer Hi there! 4K S doesn’t have a dedicated stereo line input, only HDMI audio and a 3.5 mm analog input. It can capture stereo audio over HDMI or through the 3.5 mm port when using Chat Link Pro.

• A:Answer Hi Sparks, yes - you can use it with your Switch while it is docked. The 4K S can capture up to 4K60 SDR, if you prefer HDR our 4K X is a better fit.
