A:Answer I've only used back tray so far with 11x17 paper so far for garage sale signs, using iMac and adobe InDesign program. I didn't have to reset anything. I opened the back top tray, put in about 12 sheets of paper. Have a wall behind printer so it stayed up pretty good, no jams. On computer, selected print from menu, then print window comes up, selected Epson as the printer (I have a Brother also so that's an option too), in the same window I picked 11x17 for the paper selection and it printed. I don't know what type of computer you're trying to print from, but either way you always have to make sure your printer is selected and select the correct paper size. Maybe you're trying to print smaller or thicker specialty paper from the back? I haven't tried that yet. Good luck! I would call Epson if I had a problem.
