- Answer Yes, after hard-wired, it will keep charging the battery. And if there is a power outage, the built barrtey will still work.

- Answer You can actually customize and set up "activity zones" so that your camera only picks up motion in the specific zones that you designate. It's super helpful, and cuts down the false alarms significantly. Hope this helps.

- Answer My doorbell camera is a floor down from the chime. I have the chime near my wifi modem. Although not asked, I will tell you that you hear conversations across the street clearly!!! Not that you want to, but it is a very good system. I just have the door camera with chime.

- Answer The doorbell camera comes with its own base, which plugs into an outlet. The base has the chime. I believe this stores the doorbell videos. The doorbell camera will integrate seamlessly with the eufy app; therefore, you can manage the security cameras and doorbell in one place.

- Answer Connected just to the chime and when someone is detected it stores a video clip in the chime and notifies you on your phone thru the Eufy app. Very clear video that you can zoom in to read a name tag or check things out. Love it !!
