- Answer I wanted to this feature myself but unfortunately at this price point, no, it does not have an Ethernet port. Apparently, you can use a USB-to-Ethernet adapter to plug into the USB port. QuestionWhat is the purpose of the adhesive strip? I am looking to add a Roku to a wall-mounted TV in our basement. I could get the Roku stick, but I've had ours heat up pretty hot and would prefer a "box" like this. Could I just ziptie it behind the TV?

- Answer Hello James! The adhesive strip is so you can attach the device to a wall mounted TV and still keep it in line of sight for the remote since it is IR. If you zip tie it behind the TV the remote won't be able to work since for this device it needs the line of sight.

- Answer Turn the Roku on first. Check to see if the TV has controls on it to change the channel or volume. If there is a way to change the input to whatever hdmi port that you plugged the Roku into (hdmi 1, hdmi 2, etc..). You didn’t say if you had a universal remote or not. If so, use the input button to change it to whichever hdmi port that you plugged the Roku into

- Answer Not to insult your intelligence but make sure that you put batteries in it. If it’s not the battery powered one, make sure that you plug a micro USB charger into the bottom of the remote and charge it first.

- Answer Not that I have ever found. What you hope for is, as far as I know, not allowed legally. It's a cable or satellite only provided option. If you don't pay them, or have an old physical dvr with it's own storage, you are S.O.L. Hopefully if I am mistaken, someone will say so asap.
