• A:Answer Hi Jif, as long as you allow room for adequate ventilation and plug the unit into a grounded AC outlet. Keep in mind you will require periodic access to clean the icemaker (including keeping the fan area and air intake free from particulate matter/dust/hair etc.)

Q: QuestionWhat is the capacity of the water reservoir in this machine? Do I need to watch how much water I put in every time or is it big enough that I can put an entire gallon of water into the tank and resume making ice.

• A:Answer You have to watch the amount of water or hook it up to a water line. The ice does not stay frozen long and gets recycled back in to water reservoir. Returned mine after 1 use. Leaked water and shoots ice out onto floor randomly due to doors not shutting. Makes very little ice.

• A:Answer Hi Sharon - the ice storage area is not refrigerated. Water from melting ice is recycled into new ice or cold water.

• A:Answer "A WATER LINE HOOK UP IS AVAILABLE SO YOU CAN HAVE A CONTINUOUS FLOW TO YOUR ICE MAKER." (this is shown on the Curtis Website for this product: https://curtisfrigidaire.com/product/efic245-ss/) There is also a downloadable manual there which indicates the hole on the back of the unit for the "water inlet".
