Q: Questiondoes anyone make a 36 inch long ventless microwave
Asked by roberto.
This question was asked about the related product: GE - 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave with Convenience Cooking Controls - Stainless Steel
- A:Answer Hi Roberto - Thanks for viewing GE! If you are replacing a 36" over-the-range microwave, many current 30" over-the-range microwaves offer an optional 36" filler kit to allow it to be installed in a 36" cut-out opening. We do not offer a filler kit for this model (JVM3160RFSS). Check out GE® 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Oven JVM6172SKSS. Optional 36" Side Filler Panel Kit JX36CSS sold separately. Also, all models can be converted to recirculating (ventless). Recirculating Charcoal Filter JX81J included. Also, check out GE® 1.9 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Sensor Microwave Oven with Recirculating Venting JNM7196SKSS (no conversion necessary). Optional 36" Side Filler Panel Kit JX36DSS sold separately. We hope these models suit your needs. Keep in touch at 1-800-626-2005 or GEAppliances.com - Sue

Q: QuestionWhich Model replaces the JVM 240wv 001 Thank You
Asked by Tim.
- A:Answer Unfortunately, I cannot answer that, but I can tell you that this is the 3rd microwave we have had in the past 12 or so years and every one had a different hole pattern to attach it to the wall. Not an insurmountable problem. But extra work and annoying. I would check directly with GE for an answer to your question.
