• A:Answer Hi Annie - Thanks for your interest in GE Model # GFT14ESSMWW! Ventless dryers can be installed conveniently in a closet, placed under a counter or stacked in a corner without the need to vent externally. Ventless condenser dryers use a dual loop airflow system. The first loop draws in a small amount of ambient air which passes through the condenser for initial heating. The heated air is then pushed into the drum, where it heats up the wet laundry and causes water to evaporate. This air is then looped back into the condenser where it's cooled down - that's the second loop. The air that's already inside the condenser is reheated and sent back into the drum to repeat the process until the clothes are dry. The water that is extracted goes to a tank or an external drain. Q: QuestionIt states a power cord is NOT included with the dryer, why is the cord not included? What power cord is required to use the dryer?

The reason a power cord isn't included is because this dryer is compatible with different power cords depending on the number of prongs and length. The following model numbers are for compatible power cords: WX9X2, WX9X3, WX9X4, WX9X18, WX9X19 and WX9X20. You can see these power cords and their details listed on page 13 of the owner's manual. Q: Questionon the gft14essmww. and corresponding washer, we have a limited depth space. i see this is 26" deep but what is the width/depth of the hoses and cords? Is it more than 1"?
