Q: QuestionI have an Asko 24” ventless dryer stacked atop an Asko washer. The homeowners insurance is willing to replace the Asko dryer w/this GE dryer. Will the Asko washer plug into the GE dryer? Obviously we can select a dryer cord to work w/the 240 3 prong plug

• A:Answer Don't think so unless the Asko plugs have changed. The GE would fit a regular looking three prong plug. On the Asko washers I have seen, one of the prongs is twisted to make it proprietary to Asko. (You can check your washer plug and see if it would fit into a regular wall plug, if yes, then would fit into GE, otherwise no.

• A:Answer Check the manual. You need to swap the hose that is currently there and put in the included drain hose in its place. That then goes to the ususal drain with the washing machine.

Q: QuestionIf I buy both the washer and appropriate dryer does it come with the cord needed to connect the washer to the dryer and also the appropriate 240V power cable? We only have one outlet on our power source so want to make sure it comes with all cables.

• A:Answer I think it came with the 240 cable, but i paid for an install which included the cable. The cord from the washer (included) can be plugged into the dryer.

Q: QuestionHow does this dryer remove lint and where is the lint filter? I've read the instructions and questions. It's not clear about lint removal. Thank you.

• A:Answer Hi there, We appreciate you reaching out! The lint filter is located inside the front of the drum. This dryer removes lint as any normal dryer does. It is ventless in how it removes moisture from clothes. Ventless condenser dryers use a dual loop airflow system. The first loop draws in a small amount of ambient air which passes through the condenser for initial heating. The heated air is then pushed into the drum, where it heats up the wet laundry and causes water to evaporate. This air is then looped back into the condenser where it's cooled down - that's the second loop. The air that's already inside the condenser is reheated and sent back into the drum to repeat the process until the clothes are dry. The water that is extracted goes to a tank or an external drain. Q: QuestionIs only one 220V outlet needed for both this unit and the compatible washer? We have only one outlet in our closet and the w/d needs to plug into that. Also, we are considering going ventless and need the width to be less than 24in. Would this work?

• A:Answer Yes. The dryer plugs into the wall and the washer plugs into the dryer. (The washer can also be plugged into a regular outlet only the dryer needs 220).
