• A:Answer This model can be exhausted to the right of the cabinet, to the left of the cabinet, to the bottom of the cabinet, and standard rear exhaust. For full details, see the “Exhausting the Dryer” section starting on page 18 of the Owner’s Manual which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website.

Q: QuestionHello, I have a question abou the amp and voltage for both the washer (Model:GFW148SSMWW) and dryer. (Model:GFD14ESSNWW) Does the washer need 15amp and 120V and Dryer need 30amp and 240V separately? Does that mean I would need a total of 45amp and 360V?

• A:Answer I would consult an electrician. Mine had to run a separate line and outlet for the dryer and upgrade my breaker box. The power cord is not the regular 110v cord.

• A:Answer NO! You need a special outlet for the dryer and a special plug. This dryer is junk! and Best Buy will not support it unless you purchase thier service plans. Trust me you will need it.

We do expect some noise from the dryer as it operates, including a squeak when it’s started (which should go away after a few seconds) and the sound of the drum turning. Other noises may indicate an issue. Q: QuestionDoes this dryer have "TIMED DRY" option? I do not see it in the picture, thanks!

• A:Answer Thank you for asking your question about timed dry cycle. this model does have a TIMED DRY cycle. It is explained on page 6 of the manual. Timed Dry 1. Press Timed Dry button. Lights around the knob will flash. Select the drying time by rotating the knob to increase or decrease the time in 10-minute increments up to 2 hours and 30 minutes. 2. Select the dry Temp. 3. Close the door. 4. Press Start/Pause. Hope this helps you to enjoy this dryer. Geoff@GEA

• A:Answer Hi there - This is an interesting question. The back of the dryer contains the electrical connections and exhaust components necessary for proper use. This model requires 1-inch of clearance at the rear and the back should face a wall. You will, however, need to purchase part number WE49X22606 to cover the hole in the rear of the unit.
