A:AnswerNo, the video and audio come through the chromecast and thus your tv. My solution to this problem was to get bluetooth headphones, but your TV has to support that.
A:AnswerFrom what I have seen it's not possible link them. You run the apps through your smart phone or tablet. The chromecast runs on the screen and when you open the Smart TV it opens a stream to see you can't run both apps on the same screen at the same time.
A:AnswerYes you can as long as there is a port for it but some smart TVs have the same function built into it and no point in buying but if it doesn't then yes well worth it
A:AnswerChrome cast has no UI for navigation. It simply lets you stream content from various supported apps. So in your case it seems that you would want to cast you google chrome browser and view your content on your TV, which is simple all you have to do is download Chrome to your Computer or mobile device and you will see an option to Cast to your TV.
A:AnswerI assume you meant Asus. Most likely you need to install Chromecast on your tablet. If Chromecast is installed, try unisntalling, rebooting, then reinstalling.
A:AnswerIf your kindle fire web browser supports it yes, apps like Youtube, Google Chrome Browser have that option. It's an APP COMPATIBLE DEVICE, so you can stream to chrome cast from iPad, iPhone, Android Phone, Macbook, Windows :D
A:AnswerYou only need google chrome if you are looking to do things from your computer. If you are using your phone or tablet then the individual apps support casting like YouTube and Netflix.
A:AnswerNot directly but....the easiest way to do this would be to access the network hard drive using your laptop/computer and play your files using the chrome browser (while casting the tab). The chrome browser has support for AVI, MP4, M4V, MPEG, OGV, and WEBM videos. It probably supports other formats too but that's what I found with the little research I did.
A:AnswerPeople who have more than one television set in two different rooms as i do...you can take it out of one tv and move into the other, going back and forth. However, its easier and more convient just to get 2 different ones considering they recommend you keep it plugged in so its constantly getting updated. Also, if you are one that travels a lot, it would be a great accessory to take with you from hotel to hotel to keep you entertained...just don't forget it in the hotel tv! Besides with the purchase you get $20 credit if purchased before the end of january, so its like paying $10 for the chrome cast...excellent value!
A:AnswerFor an iPad, you are going to want the Apple TV. I am not familiar with compatibility with Smart Boards, but this would be the device to connect it to a TV or LCD projector.
A:AnswerTo the best of my knowledge, you will not be able to do this via ipad without an app which supports chromecase, other way is you can use your google chrome to play dish network and mirror your chrome to TV using your chromecast, but I observed some delays. best option would be ROKU HDMI Stick.
A:AnswerIn general, yes. In fact, most recently Google announced adding simple streaming of music to Chromecast and other speakers.

A:AnswerIf you have the Chromecast app on your phone and stream it to the TV, it will display the movie on the TV and show the controls on your device. It will not play the movie on both at the same time.
