- Answer If you still have all the original files on the memory card then there is a file that can be used to recover the video. The camera will do this automatically.

Questiondose best buy do trade ins?I have a hero 3+ silver but I want to upgrade to hero 4 silver and obviously, want to basically pay the difference. is that a possible?

- Answer Resale value of a 3+ is about $150. Not much of a market for them as I believe they are no longer made. So if Market value is 150, if a retailer were to buy it from you, you would get about $75-100. Better off keeping it as a spare or for multi shoots. Good Luck

- Answer The cases are the same but the batteries are different! You should be able to use everything from the hero 3 except the batteries.

- Answer No,you can set the time in the camera,but I don't remember seeing time stamps on the video itself.

- Answer It comes with a USB Cable to charge the battery. But i would recommend on getting the Dual Battery charger its only $50 and it charges 2 batteries at once and you get a extra battery as well. Go get the Dual Battery Charger its worth it. :)

- Answer Completely different things. The pivot arm allows you to mount your camera at a 90 degree angle and/or lean the camera side to side. The grip / arm / tripod is a mount to attach your camera to.

- Answer Nope, BUT, shoot in 720 @ 120 fps and use the software to do your slow motion stuff. Better control doing it this way by far.

- Answer They do have sound. You'll need to use different backs on your case to get better sound quality. For example, with a waterproof back, the camera is completely enclosed so the sound quality won't be the best. However, with a skeleton case on it, you'll get pretty good sound quality.

- Answer I tried to get sanddisk 64gb sd card for free with all the other GoPro products I was already buying. BestBuy associate was not budging. What I did get was the deal BestBuy was offering on their web site. Purchase a group of GoPro products and receive a $50 BestBuy gift card. I feel more could have been offered.

- Answer It will depend on how much video you shot / picture taking and if you have your WiFi turned on for app control or remote control. I have been able to use and keep in standby for fours on a charge with ten videos recorded during that time.

- Answer I think the main difference of the two is that the black is made for the 4k tv's that are out now and the silver isn't. So it will play in 4k and the silver will just be 1080.
