• A:Answer As an owner of this unit, which has only been a couple of weeks now, it works just fine. I can set the temp at whatever I choose to and it will maintain that temp no matter if it's on high or low. It seems however that once you set the temp on low the unit will work a little harder, which I think it goes on high until the temp is reached and then maintains the temp when the unit is sit on low. This is just fine with me and will save a little on the power bill. The unit maintains the temp at whatever you set it to as well and maintains it with little trouble. I would recommend this unit to any of my friends!

Q: QuestionCan anyone answer in detail how the low setting works? I asked this here the other day but don't understand the answer. I know it has to be on high for the thermo to work. If I then set it on low does it maintain the set temp constantly?

• A:Answer I personally set it to low and a desired temp and it turns on & off periodically which pretty much maintains the desired temperature. I use it at night, and I am sometimes super warm in the morning, but it could just be because I've been sleeping under a heavy blanket. I've remedied this by adjusting the timer so it turns off after a few hours. I hope this helps. I don't really pay much attention to it unless I get hot/cold.

For example, it all depends on the following --- the size of the room, the height of the ceiling, how many windows are in the room, and if the room is adequately insulated. I have purchased at least ten space heaters over several years. None of them can heat up my rooms only because i need new windows plus my home is very poorly insulated. I need space heaters because of this. I place it close to me so it warms me up. However, this product is way better than any other space heater which I purchased.

It does have a timer you can set from 1 to 6 hours , also it can be set to oscillate or just sit still , low and high setting also . So far this has been about the best small heater we have used . it has tip over shut off or if you get to close to the base it has sensors that will turn it off till it is moved . Ideal for use with pets or small children .
