Q: QuestionI have 3 Honeywell 6000 thermostats. One of them, the schedule set for four "heat" settings + four "cool" settings, each for different time (6 am, 8:00 am, 6:00 pm, 10:00 pm). "Schedule" working but when I press "done", the temperature goes to 83. Why?

• A:Answer Re check your wiring and also see if you have A single or duel phase heat pump. Duel phase has an emergency heating setting. Then you have to check the settings on the thermostat by holding the fan and up button and go through each setting. You can also give Honeywell a call. They are really good with step by step instructions on how to wire and set the settings.

I haven’t watched any of them, as I found the product instruction manual (included in the box and available for free download from Honeywell’s website) to be sufficient. Moreover, if you download the “Total Connect Comfort” app from the iOS App Store, you can run it in demo mode to try out what it’s like using the thermostat from the app before buying the thermostat. I’m not sure if the Android app offers a demo mode as well, since I haven’t tried it.
