- Answer Try installing the entire printer software suite. And uninstall the optional software later if you can get things to work.

QuestionIs it compatable?Is this all-in-one printer compatible with the HP Pavilion Slimline Desktop-6GBMemory--1TB Hard drive Model: 400-224? I may be coming to your Bakersfield, CA store around March 28th or so to buy both the Printer & Computor Tower. I just need to know if they are compatible because I didn't understand the compatible stuff. I own a HP pavillion now thats over 10 yrs old, my printer quit too so I need both.

- Answer When you go to print you can click into settings and change it in there. You might have to do it every time you print something.

- Answer If I understand your question. You should not have any issues with making that connection. . The extreme would have its own IP. You just need to choose what connection you want to use as your IP Interface USB or Wireless (wired connection versus wireless connection).

- Answer If your Kindle Fire HD can support the HP ePrint App you may be able to print to this HP e-All-in-One printer. HP does not have specifications on third party products like Kindle, I recommend contacting the manufacturers of Kindle for compatibility questions.

- Answer Just put in photo paper, 8X 10 is very easy, just line it up like the paper. But the 4x6 paper is a little difficult, but it can be lined up right.

- Answer If you have Adobe Professional or Adobe Standard you can convert some .pdf's into a Word Document and edit them.

- Answer Simply lift the top. Finger indentations are on each side. The cartridges snap out and in with little difficulty. You don't even have to turn the printer off.

Questioncan I choose between printing color or in black and white?With my previous printers, I was able to decide each time I printed a document if I wanted to print in color or black and white. This printer seems to force me to print in color all the time. For most of my documents, printing in black in white is fine and I want so save the color cartridge for when i truly need color. Can I do this with this printer, or did I make a mistake buying this printer? Thanks for any advice.

QuestionSystem requirements (Windows XP, 7, 8, etc.)?Under "system requirements" it says it works with Windows XP or higher. Under "additional system requirements" it says Windows 7 or 8. If I have XP, will it work? Only partially work? What does the difference in system requirement information mean?

- Answer You shouldn't have any issues whatsoever. Just follow the easy steps on the installation disc and windows will recognize the appropriate drivers for you and install them.
