- Answer It’s a laser printer. Toner wont run. If your checks are configurable to the standard paper sizes, you should not have any problems.

- Answer Diagram shows it can. Will confirm later. Copy on both sides automatically 1. Load the original documents into the document feeder with the first page facing up, and with the top of the page leading. 2. Adjust the paper guides to fit the size of the document. 3. From the Home screen on the product control panel, touch the Copy button . 4. Touch the Settings button. 5. Scroll to and touch the Two-Sided button. 6. Swipe through the options, and then touch an option to select it. 7. Touch the Black or Color button to start copying.

QuestionWhat is the replacement cartridge number for the colors?

- Answer Go with the 206X, vs the 206A. You get a significantly higher number of pages. You can buy the quad kit that has the 3 colored (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) toner cartridges as well as the black. All have the 206A or X and then the color designation. Also, call HP, they gave me a discount as a new user..

QuestionHow long will the toner be good if the laser printer is only used once a month??? Does the toner cartridges have a self-life once installed?? I have had ink jet printers in the past and the ink gums up due to infrequent use (maybe used once a month).

- Answer Hello, thank you for your question. There is no specific expiry date for toner cartridges specifically - you may see drying out with your InkJet printer due to the style of the ink and the way the printhead works. As for a LaserJet, a toner cartridge won't dry out the same way an InkJet cartridge can with minimal use. Still, we do advise printing once a week to keep the printhead in good working order if it can be helped - alternatively, leave your printer on so it can perform occasional maintenance to keep things in working order. If you're unsure or have further questions, don't hesitate to reach out to HP Support or your Best Buy Geek Squad!

- Answer Use the HP Support. I did the phone call through the app, input my number and within a few minutes HP was calling me. They should be able to help you and it is all under that first year warranty.

- Answer Yes, you can. _But_ if your bank requires checks to be printed with MICR toner, there isn't MICR toner available for this printer.
