If I got this right, paperweight for photos means thickness. Placing a card stock paper into this machine would create a jam, but 22 lb and 24 lb paper types should go through without a hitch. Printers of the past could handle card stock so much better than today's models. My advice: be careful.

A:AnswerPretty sure if your internet is coming through your phone line, you may need a filter that goes between the phone line and the plug. I am not too familiar with Fios, but I remember in years past, I had to use a filter on my DSL line to use a fax. I would check with Verizon on this.
A:AnswerYes, I did not use the included CD nor do I usually. You can go to the HP website and look up the printer drivers installing them directly from their webpage. Once you download the driver, its wizard walks you through everything. Super easy to use!
A:AnswerCheck and make sure the ink cartridges are pressed in place. I found I got lower ink/toner error when I put the small cartridges that come with the printer and I had only printed one page. Once I opened it back up and pushed the cartridges back in - I no longer got that message.
