• A:Answer There are 2 (two) NVMe slots, but one of them can only hold a 2230 form factor, and the other up to a 2280 form factor, which is the size of the m.2 that is installed already in the laptop. I would suggest that if you want more space, consider either buying a 2230 NVMe, which only supports up to 2TB, or purchasing a larger NVMe for the 2280 slot and keeping the 1TB drive in your desk. Or, you could sell or give the 1TB away to a friend or on eBay.

Q: QuestionI was under the impression when I bought this it would be like my other laptop with a C drive and D drive. I do not see a D drive only the C drive? Is that correct?

• A:Answer Yes. To get a D: drive you have to buy a 2230 form factor SSD and mount it in the emoty M.2 slot. If you wanted a full size D: drive it’s more complicated - best ask Geek Squad to help unless you’re pretty computer savvy.

Q: QuestionCan I turn off AI tools on this computer and fully disable Copilot? I want to fully disable AI "features" because they are intrusive.

• A:Answer It’s a bit tricky though, might need multiple steps. For sure disable “recall”. If somebody hacks that they get screen shots of everything you did. Most importantly never create a Microsoft account when you first configure it. If you already did, too late, Microsoft now owns the PC you just paid for, and they encrypt your data and own the decrypt password. The other Copilot features are innocuous but just overhead. Nothing wrong with AI (half my software career was in AI) but Microsoft corruption leaves the Microsoft stench on AI.
