• A:Answer It’s a brand new computer, and also a new model to the HP lineup as of early 2025. You can buy it online for home shipment or for pickup at a Best Buy store (that you would identify as your home store). To buy it in person, call your nearest (Pasadena?) store first to see if it’s in stock, maybe ask them to hold it, so as not to waste a trip.

• A:Answer The battery it comes with pribably lasts 7 hours under modest usage. In any event it is not a “choosable battery.” If you are a bit technical-capable, I suppose you could buy one extra of the standard battery, charge up both batteries at home, put the extra battery in backpack, and bring along suitable screwdriver to remove laptop bottom and swap to fresh battery when needed. That’s a lot of monkey business though.
