- Answer I have mine in a room and can change rooms also, it sits on the floor and has wheels. You do need a window in the room for the hose.

- Answer Since your asking how to install it im assuming you dont have the exhaust hose or window vent you can order it from almost anywhere that sells air conditioners after you have it the set up is pretty self explanatory if i am wrong in my assumption i appoligize and would just recommend looking your modle number up on YouTube
