A:AnswerThe insignia support did not answer my question. I know how to drain the water. The issue is that it's filling up way too fast and has to be emptied constantly. It shouldn't fill up within an hour. Something has to be broken.
A:AnswerMine used to bro but then stopped all of a sudden and stopped dispensing water. I feel like it has to do with cold air escaping the room then in turn never letting the room reach the desired temp so it just keeps pushing.
A:AnswerThe setup is very easy. I just unboxed it and attached the plastic exhaust to back of unit and to the sliding piece that goes into the window. They just snap on. The window piece just slides to accommodate we window size. So much easier than a window unit.
A:AnswerWe use it in our master which could be considered medium size and works for that. Of course, this is not a direct answer but an idea for comparison.
A:AnswerHello. The vent hose probably can be expanded to about 6', the window kit has about 4 pieces [(1 for venting - about 6-9") and three additional slats (1 - about 6-9" and 2 that are about 20")]. I used it to accomodate a vertical window requiring 57". The one thing i would recommend is to purchase screws equal in size to the ones provided in the window to be used as a window security bracket. I used them to hold the slats in place...the plastic pieces kept slipping out and eniugh werent provided to achieve the vertical length needed.
The power cord is about 4-5' in length.
I hope this info helps.
