QuestionIs there clearance for a heat sink on the SSD? For example, as some of the Western Digital or Samsung SSDs have?

- Answer Nope. Unless your heatsink is maybe 1/16" high. On the other hand, I saw other answers that said the pad they include is a "thermal pad", so maybe it's transmitting the heat to the case. Others also noticed how warm the case got after awhile. I only used it to transfer files, so I didn't use it long enough to witness any heat-related issues.

QuestionTrying to recover data from a dead elitebook 840. My new laptop can see the insignia device in my USB Port, but it’s not showing up in my accessible files. Any suggestions?

- Answer I had a similar problem with an drive I removed from a desk top computer. You may have to "mount" the drive in windows. Either get someone who knows how, or research it very carefully before doing it yourself. Done wrong it will wipe the drive.

- Answer It's very manageable. I can hold it with my hands. Tech specs: 31.78°C (89.2°F) on the read and 32.17°C (89.9°F) on the write of a 3GB file. It's idle around 31.11°C (88°F) at 70°F.

- Answer Don't have Diablo 4 and don't know if your laptop is using SSD drives or if it's compatible with your laptop internally. But should work on a gen 3.2 USB port. Don't know if it will improve on program speed.

QuestionI've never used one of these before, and am just trying to pull the files from an old hard drive onto my new laptop. I can see the drive in "This PC" but can't seem to find all the basics like photos and Word docs. Please help!

- Answer It would be easier to use an older style 3.0 USB drive (stick) as your old laptop would find it more compatible. Then you can use the SSD to store those files. Or telephone the geek squad and ask for help.

- Answer I dont think so. It is compatible with m.2 nvme type M keys. I dont thing a traditional ssd would work.

- Answer Yes. The biggest bottleneck I've found was from the software to do the cloning. Samsung offers a free software to use, but recommends you use it with Samsung drives primarily. Many other options exist, but require you to pay or sign up for a trial to use.
