Of course, without wifi, you lose some of the best features such as automatically starting to clean on a regular schedule or the robot reporting on how it is doing with the job. Without wifi, it cannot coordinate with a roomba in the same house. Without wifi, you also give up clear text messages as far as an problems it encounters.
I believe it would be a waste of money to get a wifi enabled robot since all it can do is the same things as a robot that is not wifi enabled.
