Question1) I purchased this docking station to connect to two displays: Full HD 1920X 1080 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate with HDMI connectivity. Is it the same as 1080p? Will the docking station preserve the native refresh rate?

- Answer Support up to 4K (3840 x 2160) on two displays (DP/HDMI or HDMI/HDMI ports) and 1080p on the VGA port. Please make sure your computer supports "DisplayPort Alt Mode" over USB-C for video out for Plug n Play ports (DP or HDMI). Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device.

QuestionI have a Lenovo Thinkpad Model P15S with an additional monitor. Is this docking station compatible with it? Are there any accessories (power supply, etc) needed to be purchased to make it work with the laptop and monitor?

- Answer Yes. There’s no need for external power supply. This docking station plugs directly into a 120v AC outlet. Make certain your operating system (I.e. Windows 10 or iOS (apple) display software is configured to recognize your specific display layout. Check YouTube how to setup for multiple monitors.

- Answer Unfortunately, we would need more information on your computer. The JCD543 is a PnP and driver base. However, your USB-C port must support DisplayPort Mode for video output, using HDMI or DP ports. The other HDMI and VGA ports require drivers, Please contact our representatives so they may be able to help you find the right device. - Answer Yes, but the USB-C port on your HP must support "DisplayPort Alt Mode" and "Power Delivery" for some of the plug and play ports to work on the JCD543. QuestionIs there a way to get the power cord to connect to this and supply the laptop with power as well? and only one of the HDMI ports works. Do these have full functionality with a macbook pro or did I buy and half working plastic wedge that has a USB port?

- Answer There is a port for optional power supply. I had to add a power supply to get the second HDMI to work, but I have a 10 ft run to monitor on the wall. I have run a 2 HDMI output for a year now. I run a PC so not sure about macbook issues.

- Answer Please contact Asus Support to verify if your 1x USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) also supports DisplayPort Alt. Mode for video output and Power Delivery for pass-through charge to computer. If yes. the JCD543 will be compatible with your Asus computer.

- Answer I attached a 4 port hub to one of the existing ports and it works fine. I do have a power supply attached to the doc, I expect this may be needed to drive a lot of devices.

- Answer I had to add a power supply to the doc for my second monitor to work, the J5 one is $50. I also had to go into Windows setup to config the display properties.
