“Info says lock won't work if wifi is out. Can I still unlock with key if power/wifi were to go out?”

After the hurricanes hit us last month, our electricity was out for several days. This is when we discovered that our Kwikset halo lock will not unlock without WiFi. Luckily we have a spare key hidden outside. Otherwise we would’ve been locked out of our house!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the Wi-Fi goes out, the Kwikset app will no longer connect to the lock, however, the Access Codes will work on lock, touchscreen if the lock still has battery power.
