- Answer The Yoga 7i is the next generation of the Yoga c740. In comparison, it has the newest tiger lake processor, better battery life and thunderbolt 4 compatibility. I just bought the c740 as a gift and I'm changing it out for the 7i.

QuestionPlease pardon my ignorance but if I used the UBS-C port to connect to the HDMI adapter, how would the laptop be powered for the long use when the battery is empty? Is there any other source of power?

- Answer The laptop does not have an onboard HDMI port. That is not uncommon for newer, slim laptops. Most slim/ultrabook laptops have USBC/Thunderbolt ports which serve multiple purposes. If you get a USB C dock or a USB C to HDMI adapter you will be able to connect an external legacy monitor to the laptop. New monitors that have a USB C output can connect directly to the laptop via a male USB C to male USB C cable

- Answer The Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 7i 14 model number 82BH0006US, ships with a Integrated 71Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery, which within this configuration, has a battery life of up to 13 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. The keyboard backlighting will stay on while the keyboard is in use. After 20-seconds of inactivity the backlighting will go into Sleep Mode until a key or the touchpad is touched, to prolong the battery life. You can manually control the keyboard backlighting by holding down the Fn Key and tapping the Spacebar: Once to turn on the backlighting, twice to increase the intensity of the backlighting and three times to turn off the backlighting.

- Answer Yes, it supports 5g. I have FIOS in my home and an extender on the second floor for 2.4G. There are 3-4 devices on at any time and I never get kicked off, but that may be due to my single-residence home status. My home has basement and attic and I am securely connected in any part of the house. I have no problems streaming anywhere in the home and even have good connection in my backyard. Perhaps being in an apartment complex with multiple service providers affects your connection.

- Answer The Yoga is not a good computer for game if you are doing some serious gaming. It really doesn't have the processing power for heavy loads there are far better PC and Laptops out there, built just for gaming

- Answer The battery indicator reports how much battery life is remaining based on your usage over time. The software is still learning your usage. See how long the battery lasts under your normal usage patterns. You will see a more realistic battery life estimate develop over time. You also want to be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will cause the battery to drain faster due to increased workload on the computer. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.
