Q: QuestionHow many kwh does this dryer use for a standard dry setting?
Asked by Meintheoc.
- A:Answer Hi there, Meintheoc. Thank you for inquiring about the energy usage of the LG 7.4 cu. ft. Front Load Electric Dryer, model DLEX4000W. We understand how crucial energy efficiency is for your home. On a standard dry setting, this electric dryer consumes approximately 2.4 kWh per cycle, depending on factors such as load size and fabric type. To ensure optimal energy performance, we recommend cleaning the lint filter after each use and avoiding overloading the dryer. https://www.lg.com/us/washers-dryers/lg-dlex4000w-front-load-electric-dryer#pdp_specs If you have more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to us on social media at @LGUSSupport. Q: QuestionDoes this dryer have an anti-tangle feature like the GE profile preventing large items like comforters from bunching up which causes items not to dry evenly. I'm not a fan of having to stop the dryer just reposition bulky items for them to dry evenly.
Asked by Blackdragon79.
- A:Answer Hello there, thank you for reaching out! We understand your concern about bulky items like comforters bunching up in the dryer. The LG DLEX4000W dryer is equipped with AI Sensor Dry™ technology, which uses sensors to detect moisture levels and adjust drying time accordingly. This feature can help prevent over-drying and ensure even drying, but for larger items like comforters, there is no specific anti-tangle feature like the one found in some other models. To address this, we recommend using the Bedding cycle, which is designed to handle bulky items. While it may not eliminate the need for repositioning large items entirely, it helps optimize the drying process for comforters and other large laundry loads. Additionally, you can try the SteamFresh™ cycle, which can also help reduce wrinkles and aid in refreshing heavy fabrics. https://www.lg.com/us/washers-dryers/lg-dlex4000w-front-load-electric-dryer#pdp_specs Please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport if you'd like more tailored advice or need further assistance.
