Q: QuestionI received this laptop today and I was surprised to find it has a glossy OLED not a Matte IPS. The box it comes in clearly states IPS display. Did LG change what they are shipping or did I get a one of a kind?

The LG gram Pro Max 17 Inch Copilot+ PC, Windows 11 Home, Lightweight Dual AI Touchscreen Laptop, Intel® Core™ Ultra 9, NVIDIA RTX 5050, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Bronze, Model # 17Z90UR-P.AU99U3, does not have an OLED panel, so it does not have an OLED screen. It is an IPS touchscreen display, as indicated on the carton it ships in, but while many LG gram laptops feature anti-glare coatings, touch-enabled screens on this line often have a glossy or semi-glossy finish to facilitate the touch functionality, rather than a traditional matte finish...^Ivan.

- A:Answer Actually, it's the other way around as far as upgradeable RAM. Older LG gram laptops that used the DDR4 RAM had one slot that was soldered to the motherboard and one free slot allowing you to upgrade the RAM, but for newer models with the LPDDR4 RAM, and this LG gram Pro Max 17" 144Hz Touch-Screen Gaming Laptop WQXGA Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 386H with 32GB RAM - 1TB SSD - Brushed Bronze, Model # 17Z90UR-P.AU99U3, which has 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, the RAM is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be upgraded...^Ivan.
