A:AnswerThis device plugs in to a USB port on your PC. I replaces the WIFI that cam with the PC.
Since it is not cellular (like you smartphone) if gets to the internet via a router that is in your home.
To get that router providing internet traffic you need a connection to an internet provider (Comcast or Verizon etc,).
So, the bottom line is if you do not have internet to your pc through your router then buying this Linksys USB WIFI will not get you what you want.
A:AnswerThis wifi adapter requires loading of "drivers" to work. Unless you are a computer "wizard", who can hack into your Samsung tv operating system and load drivers, I kinda doubt it would work. Just my 2c.
A:AnswerI'd set up a chat with the Linksys people if you can. Their rep was very helpful when I had a question about whether my current model needed upgrading based on my PC.
A:AnswerShould work for any device that has usb 3.0 and a means to install the drivers.
If not, it would be hit or miss. Mine failed after 3 weeks, so I do not recommend.

A:AnswerYes, it is designed to provide wireless where there is no card or built-in, but usb 3.0 is available.
Would be a good option if it worked for a while, but mine died after 3 weeks - good luck!

A:AnswerDepends on if the printer can recognize a usb 3.0 wireless device.
and if the port can communicate with the printer controller board.
Might be able to install the linksys wireless driver for printer over a cable,
if it is not automatically recognized. Wireless is easier if its built in the printer
might not be much more expensive just to get a wireless capable printer.

A:Answerit has definitely added more power to my desktop with wireless connection than any others that I have used in the past. the geek squad that had taken care of me said that this was the best and I have seen a big difference in me being connected and having a stronger performace
A:AnswerYes, Jesse. You do need a modem and a Wi-Fi router for you to access the internet at home. The Linksys WUSB6300 Wireless Adapter will just upgrade your laptop or desktop computers to the next generation 802.11 AC standard for higher speeds and better range.
A:AnswerNo, it needs to be on a Windows system since it needs to install drivers. There is an item for this though. Or you can buy a wifi plug and plug your ac into that to turn it on and off through your phone or alexa.
