The website auto detected my operating system. However, the software doesn't work when launched. Not sure how to use the camera if my computer can't see it. The blue light doesn't turn on. I will most likely be returning if I can get tech support.
A:AnswerHello MikeM! Unfortunately not, the C920S HD Webcam (and most of our webcams for that matter) are only compatible with a PC, Mac or Chromebook.
A:AnswerThis is a plug and play camera. There is no on or off switch for this camera turns on automatically when plugged in and this is chosen as the source camera.
A:AnswerYes, my son uses it sitting on top of my old thinkpad. Would be better to mount a bit higher (tripod screw) if you have a single location that you use it.
A:AnswerI believe it is. My installation was simple and have yet to have any focus issues. The camera has been moved several times as I locate the best position for my video calls and all pictures are clear with no need for manual focus.
A:AnswerYou can only clip on top as it relies on gravity and friction. But i’m sure if you get some double sided tape you could put it on the side of your monitor

A:AnswerHello Patsy. The C920S does not have any internal memory in the camera, so you will have to use a computer program to record the video. We offer free software for you to download called Logitech Capture. With Capture, you can adjust some of the settings as well as record your video and take photos. A:AnswerYes, you could mount the C920S to a wall or surface if you would like but Logitech does not provide or sell anything to be able to mount the C920S.
