A:AnswerGo to https://www.tvtv.us/ and enter your zip code. The list that comes up is the list of all broadcast channels that are available in your area. What you can actually get depends on how far away you are from the antennas and the terrain (mountains, etc.) between you and the antennas. I got a weak station that is 40 miles away with perfect reception plus all other channels. This is a very good antenna. IMPORTANT: It's very important that you rescan for channels after you find the best position for the antenna. Your experience may vary.
A:AnswerThis looks like a pretty good location for reception. The advice from the community answer person is spot on. Check your complete address on a site tool to make 100% sure!
A:AnswerI am in Castle Rock, CO and I get 12 clear HD channels (I do not count the Spanish channels as I do not watch these). All the major networks, ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX come in as clear as cable, maybe even better. There is a 3 second delay when changing channels as the tuner has to lock on to the station.
A:AnswerNo. No more cable box. I cut the cord and now save $150 a month. I only have WiFi at home. You need to have the old style threaded cable connector on the back of your TV for this antenna to work. The major network channels come in as clear as cable if not better. There is a 3 second delay when changing channels as the tuner has to lock onto the station.
A:AnswerHD Antennas, allow you to receive signals that are transmitting HD video. Having a TV that does not provide HD capabilities should not impact your ability to us an HD antenna. It only means you will not be capitalizing on the clarity provided by modern HD TVs.
A:AnswerI don't think Hallmark or MSNBC are over-the-air stations. The Mohu Leaf 50 will only receive over-the-air high definition channels. Their website has a feature to check what channels are available in your area.
A:AnswerMaybe. However, the real question is not "can you" but "should you". I don't know.
Regardless, look at the specifications of your satellite cable and compare them to the specs of the cable in the box.
A:AnswerReception depends on your location, or, the distance you live from the broadcast antenna of the channel you are trying to receive.

There is a broadcast map on the FCC.gov site so you can see where the broadcast originates related to your location in your zipcode.
A:AnswerWhen I scanned for antenna channels, my list was updated rather than deleted and recreated (which would remove previously found channels). I guess that depends on the TV.
But remember, it's about the signal reception---not the tv. The tv scanned for signals based on the frequency of the broadcast, and listed what it found--at one moment in time. It's just a list which allows you to select a channel. After that, the antenna receives the broadcast signal--or not. There will always be the potential for interference. Check the FCC.GOV link below and find the map which will allow you to note your distance from the broadcast antenna. If you live near the outer limits of the broadcast signal's range, you may get better reception with your antenna facing the broadcast as opposed to placing the antenna in a room away from the broadcast source.
If the list deletes and rebuilds, I would try moving your antenna to locations and scan for channels until all the channels you want are in one place. For example, in a window, or move it outside. Scan at different times of day. This may require you putting the antenna in a totally bizarre place, but your only objective is to get the channels in the list--then move it to a convenient location.
There's a rumor out there that a longer cable (longer than the one in the box) may boost the effectiveness of your Leaf. I bought a 25 ft. Cable but haven't hooked it up yet.
