- Answer Not sure if this will work specifically with Suddenlink as I've never heard of that company, but I can confirm that this modem is more than 4 channels. I believe it is 16 channels, actually, but if 4 is the minimum to work with Suddenlink, you should be good to go.

QuestionDoes this (or any) modem rated for Docsis 3.0 have a sleep or standby mode with a button to push? The older model SB5100 could be put into standby /sleep mode by pressing a button on the top of the modem. This was a very good feature.

QuestionI have brighthouse phone and internet only. I do have telephone jack in my wall. I am wondering with this modem (with no phone jack) will I still have phone service.

- Answer This modem works with a cable internet only. If you get cable internet, this will connect to cable outlet in your wall and then to either a computer or router to provide internet. This modem will NOT work with DSL. This is a modem for cable internet. Your phone jack and phone service is completely separate. You will have to speak with brighthouse to ensure you have the correct service that meets your needs.

- Answer This is just an activity monitor. The orange LED flashes to let you know there is traffic on the network (ethernet is quite chatty)
