A:AnswerI have Spectrum. When I got it about 3 years ago (it was Time Warner then) I bought my own Motorola/Arris Surfboard SB6121 modem from the recommended list. Everything works well together and I've had no issues. This new router is replacing an older Netgear WND3400.
A:AnswerOf course. There are hardwire ports for ethernet cables and any device can connect through wifi. I have used both of these OS on my network. OS doesn't make a difference.
A:AnswerThis particular device is just a router. You would need a Modem/Router to completely swap what Comcast has given you. Xfinity has a list of approved 3rd party Modem/Routers that works on their network. Once you find which one you like, you will still have to call Xfinity and have them configure your new Modem/Router before you can use it. Don't worry, they do it remotely and over the phone, takes like 15 minutes.
A:AnswerHi will,
I have had no issues connecting my FireTV or iPhone to this router! However, I am not quite sure what Windsream Internet is, so I can't quite help you with that. Sorry!
A:AnswerYou have to plug your modem into it for it to be connected to the internet otherwise it has nothing to broadcast.. It doesn't wirelessly receive the Internet connection. You have to already have an Internet connection.
A:AnswerThis router is not a modem /router. If your ISP has provided you with a modem, then run the ethernet cable from modem to router, and bam you hooked up.
