A:AnswerI too have Fision/Hotwire Eero router and this extender works very well-installed in our 3000sqft condo to extend the range of both 2G and 5Gnetwork.
A:AnswerIt can be done wirelessly. You plug it in somewhere between your router and device and then press the button on your router. The directions are very easy to understand.
A:AnswerI don't know how your system is set up, but the NETGEAR AC750 WIFI RANGE EXTENDER needs to be able to actually receive a signal from your router in order for it to boost the signal to a greater distance. It receives and boosts 2.4 and 5 GHz signals, so I would assume it would receive your router signal and extend it like it does for all routers that put out 2.4 and 5 GHZ. It doesn't list anything about blocking signals from specific manufacturers.
