A:AnswerYour PC will be exposed to the public internet. You shouldn't do this, as you will be 100% reliant on the (not very good) Windows firewall. Buy a router to go with it.
A:AnswerI highly recommend this modem if you’re paying your service provider for speeds up to 1 GB. I’m working from home and my wife is doing distance learning for the kid with multiple devices connected. We haven’t had a single issue in a month’s time since purchase.
A:AnswerThank you for your question. We would recommend contacting your service provider support to see if our products are compatible and would work with their service. – NETGEAR
A:AnswerYeah. This works well with WOW Internet. I've been using it.
Word to the wise, you cannot use your own modem with AT&T Fiber Internet. Don't buy a modem if you're going to purchase AT&T Fiber Internet.
A:AnswerThis modem is for Cable only. NOT DSL. Also this is only a cable modem with no Wifi or router built in. I would recommend this if you already have a Wifi/router and if you don't have a router then you might want an ALL in ONE.Then I would get the next one up from this one that has the modem and the Wifi/router built in.
