QuestionI read in one of the questions that these cameras come with a 6ft power cord. Can you get longer power cords or do you need to use a regular extension cord. I need about 15-20ft to run thru my attic to place cameras at different angles facing my driveway

- Answer Thank you for the questions and happy to help as you evaluate systems. 1- You have the option to run continuous recording or just event based recording. 2- You can save events as long as you'd like to but we advise using a USB flash drive to export important events for safe keeping separately. 3- Brick and other dense materials can impede signal strength so we advise placing the recorder in a location unimpeded by those materials when possible. Individual experiences may vary depending on Wi-Fi ability to link to devices. Extenders can work but we cannot guarantee they will. Night Owl SP Digital Support Team

Yes, we provide Night Owl Mobile App for free that allows you to monitor your system, review footage, etc. The only feature you could optionally add for a monthly fee would be extended Cloud storage if you wish, but there is no requirement to with the localize storage. - Answer Yes, 4 more. Mine is connect to a 32" 1080p television. Plug camera in within 8' of NVR and camera will pair (mines not connected to internet) then place where you want it. there's also a way to hook it up through Bluetooth,

- Answer Thank you for the question. This series of recorder uses Wi-Fi for the media feed but is powered via A/C plug in with 6 ft power cords. QuestionAre these cameras actually 110 volt or does the plug wire plug into 110 volt but step down the power to 9 or 12 volt DC to power the camera. If the cameras work off of 12 volt DC they can easily be hooked up to a solar powered system.

We do have battery powered cameras that will be gaining solar powered support later this year.
