Q: QuestionWill this work on d3400?
Asked by Kate.
- A:Answer The Nikon D3400 DSLR camera has a Nikon F bayonet mount that is fully compatible with Nikon AF-S, AF-P and E-type lenses. Nikon AI and AF-type lenses can also be used but must be focused manually as the Nikon D3400 camera does not have a built-in focus motor. The Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR is an amazing lens that will work beautifully with the Nikon D3400. This compact all-in-one DX-format lens can deliver ultra-sharp images with a bokeh blur, amazing macro close-ups and wide-angle family portraits. It's a perfect addition to any growing camera bag.

Q: QuestionWill this work with a Nikon D7000? Thanks! Oh and how wide will the frame be?
Asked by Kimberly.
- A:Answer This lens works with Nikon f mount. If you want to calculate the actual lens numbers, Nikon uses a 1.5 factor for the crop sensor. Multiply the 18, and the 140 by 1.5, and you'll get the mm that the sensor will see. Don't forget to multiply the f stop numbers by the 1.5 as well.

Q: QuestionCan I use this lens for Macro or do you suggest using the Nikon - AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED Macro Lens
Asked by Yooperdude.
- A:Answer You can always use it with the macro settings on most Nikon cameras but the 105 and 60 micro Nikkors are sharper. The attached (low res) photo of the Indian Paintbrush flower was taken with the 18-140mm.
