QuestionTea needs a certain steeping time. I realize this unit adjusts temperature for various teas but it couldn't possibly be steeping, is it? Does it come out flavorful and strong enough?

- Answer It does steep. Unlike other coffee makers this one doesn't drip the water through as it hits you tea or coffee. It holds it Ina reservoir that releases the tea/coffee after it steeps. It's also how it makes cold coffee, which is actually warm but not a bitter as hit brewed. As for the strength, I like my tea strong and use those fruity teas and they come out flavorful enough for me. You'll have to test it out yourself to find if it's strong enough for you.

QuestionDo you have to use filtered water? Is this just for taste or will regular tap water break this machine? I do not have a fridge that filters water.

- Answer We do suggest using filtered water as this will also reduce how often your will need to run a clean cycle with the system. With that being said, it is not mandatory to use filtered water, tap water will also work in the unit.

- Answer Yes, this coffee maker has a "Delay Brew" option. The button is underneath the clock, and the instructions are on page 17 of the Owner's Guide.

- Answer It is TRUE cold brew. It brews at a very low temp and thoroughly soaks the grounds plus allows them to steep before allowing the liquid through. I was skeptical at first but when I made cold brew, it was so smooth and tasty. I was shocked! Now, this is my go to for iced, cold brew, or hot brew coffee!

QuestionWhen I set the system to cold brew , the coffee maker does not use all the water. Is this normal. I have the setting on full craft and there is about a quarter of the water left and the basket stops draining.. No issues with regular brew.

- Answer Yes it’s normal! I use the cold brew setting everyday and I always fill it up with water and only half gets used, And it also depend on the setting of size you have, Example if I want to make a big pot of cold brew coffee it will use it all, if I only use it for a regular size cup it will only take that amount of water. I don’t have a problem with it. Hopefully I answer your question well!

- Answer I don’t know why you couldn’t put them in an airtight container and then just scoop out the coffee like you would when you buy 2 pounds of coffee, etc.

- Answer With the Ninja - Hot & Cold Brew 10-Cup Coffee Maker - Black/Stainless Steel it is not recommended to place the carafe in the fridge; however, you can store the brewed coffee in the fridge.

- Answer Both filters are a combination of plastic and stainless steel mesh. I don't know the type of plastic, but I'm sure it's BPA-free.

- Answer Yes the coffee is hot. You can adjust the temp between low & high. I keep mine at high. However, i will say this is subjective. What i consider hot may not be hot enough or too hot for you. But im thrilled with this coffee maker. Awesome options and coffee tastes great.
