QuestionCan I burn and MP4 or.MOV file created with a GOPRO Hero 4 Black (4K) and have is play back in my home blu-ray player? I transfered a small .MP4 file to a regular DVD and it played but it dropped a lot of frames as if the transfer rate was too slow.

- Answer BluRay discs are region free. You shouldn't need to be setting the region on the drive to access them.

QuestionWhen no disc in player, the eject button works. With a disk in unit, button won't work. I have to unplug and use the release button on bottom of unit. What's up?

- Answer Try using a 3rd party software. I rip my blu-ray movies with MakeMKV and then convert them with Handbrake.

- Answer Yes, I use it on all macs from 2009 to 2015 with no issues. You'll need burning and playing software for blu-rays though.

- Answer Works fine with DVDs. If you have a high power USB connector it works with just onet, but if not here's a second USB connector that can be used for additional power. I was able to use it with just one USB connection.

- Answer Plug it in and use your favorite media player. You can use VLC Player or whatever other player you'd like.

- Answer This is an optical drive. It will read almost all CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays and write almost all writable optical disk formats as indicated in the specs. It is not however a "player" as it has no software for doing that. If your computer that you are plugging this drive into has the player software for the format you are trying to play then you should be set.
